In the span of just 20 minutes, a cyclist, a motorcyclist, and a motorist were all injured and hospitalised after separate accidents across Luxembourg on Monday evening.

At 5.14pm on Monday, a motorist had to be rescued by firefighters from the Nordstad area after their car veered into a ditch while driving on the N7 towards Diekirch for reasons that remain unclear. The driver was injured in the crash.

Shortly after, a cyclist was knocked down by a car and injured on Avenue de la Faïencerie in Luxembourg City’s Limpertsberg district. Local emergency services tended to the scene.

At 5.34pm, firefighters from Esch-sur-Alzette were called to assist a motorcyclist who had been struck by a car on Boulevard Hubert Clement in Esch-sur-Alzette. The injured driver was transported to a nearby hospital and treated in the emergency room.
