Saturday evening saw three fires take place in quick succession between 5.30pm and 6.15pm. No injuries were reported.

In Simmerschmelz, some hedges caught fire around 5.20pm, while in Cents a fire caused by rubbish was reported at 5.50pm. A car then caught fire on the A3 motorway between Metz and Luxembourg at 6.15pm.
