Several piles of rubbish have been discovered in Luxembourg in recent days. The police are looking for the polluters.

On Saturday morning, the police reported that three illegal dumpsites were found during the week.

First, rubbish was found between Wednesday and Thursday along the CR338, just behind the village of Lieler and before the “Dreiländereck” (the border between Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg).

On Friday, more rubbish dumps were discovered near a wood in Weiswampach as well as in Lausdorn.

The police have issued an appeal for witnesses. Anyone with information regarding these cases of fly-tipping is asked to contact the Troisvierges police, either by calling (+352) 244 871 000 or by writing an e-mail to:
