The new term begins next week at the National Institute of Languages (INL), with spaces still available for would-be learners.

The institute offers 500 courses across three different sites in the capital, Belval and Mersch, including languages such as Luxembourgish, German, English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese. Registration is available at myinl.inll.lu.
This year, a pilot course now offers online learning in English, with both standard and business courses, as well as a preparatory class for the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam.
The INL courses are available to all adults. In order to gain access to a course, applicants must pass an online test and participate in an orientation interview, which will determine their level for classes. Interviews are available throughout the school year.
In order to promote Luxembourgish beyond the Grand Duchy’s borders, the Ministry of Education recently signed a partnership agreement with the Grand Est region in France. As a result, introductory courses in Luxembourgish will now be provided in six French schools.
