The Water Management Agency has lifted the warning phase regarding drinking water, according to a statement published on Friday.
As the public has been using drinking water sparingly, the supply in Luxembourg has stabilised again.
The current reserves and capacities are therefore sufficient to meet the needs of the population, so that the warning phase can be lifted at a national level.
The Agency, however, is still appealing to citizens to continue not to waste drinking water. The efforts of recent weeks have shown "that the behavior of each individual can make a concrete contribution to preserving this vital resource and ensuring its long-term availability" they write.
