Shortly after receiving the report, police apprehended the suspect near Place Guillaume. During the search, officers discovered a stolen wallet and two mobile phones, which were immediately seized.
Further investigations indicated that the suspect may be linked to additional thefts that took place the same evening. The public prosecutor ordered his arrest, and he appeared before the investigating judge on Wednesday afternoon. The stolen items have since been returned to their owners.
