The incident occurred on Route de Thionville in Hesperange att around 8pm. The assailant pushed his victim to the ground and started kicking him.
Once the man was on the ground, the culprit stole his mobile phone before fleeing in the direction of the capital.
However, the police managed to locate the man some time later. He still had the stolen phone in his possession. A complaint was filed against him.
