EchternachThe Greens present candidates for municipal elections
Councillors Christophe Origer and Carole Zeimetz will be the Greens' lead candidates in Echternach. The party's list is made up of six women and five men with an average age of 45 years.
Up until last year, 29-year-old Origer was still a member of the Christian Social People’s Party (CSV). However, in November, the lawyer announced that he would change to the Greens, which in return meant that the coalition between CSV and the Luxembourg Socialist Workers’ Party (LSAP) lost its majority on the Echternach municipal council.
