The eastern district congress of the Greens convened on Monday and confirmed Minister for Housing and Minister of Internal Security Henri Kox as lead candidate for the party in the national elections later this year. MP Chantal Gary, president of the Greens’ parliamentary group for mobility and public works, will join Kox and complete the double leadership.
However, the Greens will wait until the end of June or early July to name the remaining five candidates for the regional list.
