High temperatures transformed Luxembourg and its neighboring countries into a veritable oven last week. The heatwave probably impacted your daily life but, rest assured, our weather romance will be a less steamy one this week.
To talk numbers, Monday will bring temperatures between 22 and 25°C in the afternoon before things are cooling down in the evening. The heatwave will have a last desperate attempt at a comeback on Tuesday, with the mercury hitting the 27°C mark in the afternoon. Not quite the sauna-esque 40°C we learned to love and loathe last week.
Return to finest Luxembourg weather as we know it on Wednesday. In other words, let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday and pack an umbrella again. Temperatures drop to a refreshing 20°C.
The meteorological story is a similar one on Thursday and Friday. If Meteolux can be trusted, temperatures will most likely not exceed 24°C and light rainfall is possible. Collective sigh of relief for Luxembourg's plants and trees.
