A mugging occurred in Kirchberg/Luxembourg City at 8.30pm on Friday. At the tram station near Luxexpo, three teenagers threatened two other adolescents with a knife.
They stole mobile phones and headphones before fleeing towards the cinema.
The police have launched an investigation after they were unable to locate them.
On Friday evening, the Esch-sur-Alzette police received reports of a suspicious individual who was sitting on a bench in Rue Emile Mayrisch with an Airsoft gun.
A police patrol approached the man and seized the Airsoft gun as well as two illegal knives. The man was fined for possession of illegal weapons.
