
The incident in Belair transpired when a resident reported a possible break-in at an apartment complex, triggered by an activated alarm system. In response, the police swiftly despatched officers to the scene. Upon arrival, their attention was drawn to three women who seemed suspicious. A subsequent search of these individuals revealed stolen items from the victim’s flat, along with tools that could be used for break-ins.
In light of these findings, the public prosecutor’s office ordered that all three women be arrested. They were summoned before the examining magistrate on Saturday, who, upon review, decided to remand them in custody as the investigation unfolds.
Meanwhile, two houses were targeted on Rue d’Eich in Leudelange on Friday. In both cases, the culprits smashed in a window to enter the homes. Once inside, they searched the rooms for valuables. Investigations are underway.
