A police patrol spotted a car on Montée de la Pétrusse that had been reported as stolen. Police started to chase the car. The suspect turned left at the bottom end of Montée de la Pétrusse and hit a cyclist. It remains unclear how seriously the cyclist was injured.

The front-seat passenger was arrested at the scene. The driver attempted to take off on foot but eventually was caught by the police.
