Luxembourg police responded to a violent incident near the Pétange town hall on Saturday evening, where they discovered an individual suffering from knife wounds. The victim received immediate first aid at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Authorities quickly apprehended a suspect at the location. Preliminary investigations suggest the violence began as a verbal dispute between two individuals that escalated physically, culminating in the knife attack.
The public prosecutor’s office ordered the suspect’s arrest, and the individual was subsequently presented before an examining magistrate.
