RTL Today
The Grand Ducal police conducted additional security checks as part of their back to school campaign from 15-29 September.

Over the two-week period, police issued 261 fines for speeding and 634 fines for illegal parking around Luxembourg’s schools. In addition, 39 adults and 21 children were stopped for not wearing seatbelts, while 8 children under 1.5 metres tall did not have appropriate safe car seats.

The police have urged the public to exercise caution on the roads, reduce speed around schools and to pay attention when out with children, even if not on the school run.
