Six new deaths from COVID-19 were also reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 402.
9,366 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 4.76%.
There are 179 patients in standard hospital care, an increase of six from yesterday, while the number in intensive care has dropped by one to 46.
As a reminder, on weekends the government only releases data on the number of tests, positive cases, hospitalisations and deaths from coronavirus.
As of Friday there were 8,685 active infections in Luxembourg. 31,678 people have recovered from the virus.
