Paperjam reported on Wednesday that Suez had already agreed a deal with Prezero, a branch of the German group Schwarz.
Suez Luxembourg, which used to be known as Lamesch, is a waste management company that employs around 600 people in the country. If everything goes according to plans, the take-over will be completed by mid 2021.
