Once completed, the bridge will be around 200 meters long, 18 meters wide and weighing 5,900 tonnes, with a 40 m high arch, which is the main challenge of the construction.
Around 22 workers from a specialised Italian company are currently working on the site.
The new train line between Howald and Bettembourg will be 7 km long when finished and allow trains - especially TGVs - to go up to 160 kph.
The works should be finished by July 2023.
