The state council passed a new bill that will grant a financial aid of €2,500 to self-employed individuals. A number of conditions apply.
Applicants must experience temporary financial difficulties due to the pandemic and/or related government measures. The person's income (the amount used as a basis to calculate social contributions) cannot exceed the minimum wage by two and a half times. The applicant of course also has to be registered as self-employed/freelancer in Luxembourg.
