New Covid lawState Council expresses two "formal oppositions" against new law

RTL Today
They criticise legal uncertainties with the mask mandate in schools. What constitutes a first case in a class and who then has to mask up?

The State Council suggest that after every positive case in a classroom or lecture hall, all affected students and teachers must wear a mask for seven days from the moment the infected person was last present.

With regards to vaccine certificates from non-EU-member states, which the health director wanted to accept as equivalent to the EU pass, the Council estimates that the director does not have the necessary powers to do this. This section should be removed or the approval enshrined by Grand-Ducal law.

The new law has to pass the Chamber of Deputies and will come into force on 15 September.
