More than 140 people including Diane Wunsch (Télévie coordinator), Nathalie Frisch (Kiwanis foundation president), cancer victims and their families, volunteers, doctors, scientists and organisation committees came together at the RTL City buildings to support the 19th edition of Télévie.
More than 200 candles forming a big heart launched this year's fundraising marathon in aid of cancer research. Like every year, Télévie is supported by Rodange's Centre de Promesses. Four other centres also support this year's edition:
2019 marked a record year for Télévie: The whopping sum of €2,005,842 in donations was raised to support Luxembourg's cancer research. Télévie has worked in cooperation with the RTL Luxembourg since 2002 and has collected an impressive €23,222,121 over the years.
Saving lives, financing research and raising awareness: The Télévie campaign has always been aiming high - and is achieving its goals. Several Télévie-events will take place over the course of 2020. If you wish to organise a rally to support Télévie, please register your event at televie.lu.
