Traffic has come to a standstill on the A3 this morning following an accident at Bettembourg junction.
The collision, involving two cars, occurred shortly after 6am and has left one lane blocked.
Cross-border commuters and Luxembourg residents travelling from the south of the country are being warned to expect significant delays.
Drivers already caught in the congestion are asked to remain patient, and the emergency lane may be used if necessary.
Authorities advise avoiding the area if possible.
