Bausch confirmed that the speed limit on Allée de la Jeunesse Sacrifiée 1940-1945 in Hesperange was previously 90 km/h, but has been reduced to 70 km/h. Lies had raised concerns surrounding the safety of a 90 km/h speed limit, given the address is the location of the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps headquarters.

Bausch conceded Lies's point that higher speeds could increase the risk of dangerous situations if cars are driving at up to 90 km per hour when emergency services vehicles turn in or out of the headquarters' entrance. Consequently, the minister announced the revision of the speed limit to ensure the safety of vehicles entering or leaving the CGDIS site.
