As of Friday, the price per litre of SP95 decreases by 2.5 cents, settling at €1.436 at Luxembourg’s service stations.

This reduction follows a consistent trend, as the price of SP95 has experienced a noteworthy decline over the past five weeks. In early November, the same fuel was priced at €1.577 per litre, reflecting a substantial reduction of 14.1 cents per litre. In practical terms, this translates to a €7 difference on a standard 50-litre fill-up.

Thursday witnessed a comparable adjustment in diesel prices, where the cost per litre fell by 4.2 cents, reaching a new price point of €1.462. This dip in diesel prices represents the lowest observed rates in the Grand Duchy since July.

Meanwhile, the price of SP98 remains unaffected by these changes, maintaining its current price of €1.675 per litre.
