Unknown individuals or an unknown individual has carved the solidarity tree, causing extensive damage. The carving went through the tree's outer bark into the cambium, which could cause the tree to die.

The tree was planted at the crossing between the CR356 and route to Theinshaff-Neienshaff-Kizebur by primary school children, in order to remember the previous tree.

Witnesses should contact the Diekirch police at 24480 1000.
