Since one of the six accidents involved a hit-and-run driver, police have issued a call for witnesses to identify the person responsible for injuring a woman.

Shortly before 7am, a cyclist was hit by a car and injured on Rue Bender in Luxembourg City. Local emergency services were called to the scene to provide assistance. Since the motorist drove off towards Rue du Laboratoire after hitting the woman, the police have issued a call for witnesses. The vehicle used in the hit-and-run accident was a white minivan. Witnesses should contact the Luxembourg City police department via phone (+352 244 40 1000) or email (police.luxembourg@police.etat.lu).

A car and a bus collided between Livange and Bettembourg shortly after 8am. One person was wounded.

Half an hour later, a car and a motorcycle collided on Rue de Luxembourg in Frisange. One person suffered injuries in the process.

Two cars were involved in an accident between Ehlerange and the Ehlerange interchange around 10.30am. Two people were injured.

Shortly before 11am, a motorist lost control over their vehicle and landed in a field between Birtrange and Welsdorf. One person was injured.
