Frisange & DudelangeSix licences revoked in police alcohol checks

Between late Friday evening and early Saturday morning, Luxembourg police intercepted 26 inebriated drivers across two targeted checks, revoking licences in six cases.

On Friday night, Luxembourg police carried out targeted alcohol checks at multiple locations, resulting in several drivers facing fines or immediate licence revocations.

The first operation took place in Frisange between 10.45pm and 12.10am, where 309 motorists were stopped. Of these, 11 tested positive for alcohol intoxication. Five driver will face further legal consequences, while six received fines. Additionally, two had their driving licences revoked on the spot.

A second check was conducted in Dudelange between 1am and 2.30am, with 249 drivers screened. This time, 15 tested above the legal limit. Five were issued fines, and four motorists immediately lost their licences.
