The collision, reported at around 2.15pm, prompted the deployment of a rescue helicopter and an emergency doctor from Ettelbruck, alongside firefighters from Larochette, Junglinster, Waldbredimus and the Nordstad centre.
Separately, firefighters in Wiltz attended a barbecue fire at around noon and a bin fire at around 4.40pm. In Redange, smoke was reported from a switchboard. Luxembourg City firefighters attended a fire in the Pfaffenthal district. No injuries were reported in connection with any of the fires.
