Two people were injured in the accident, which was dealt with by Bettembourg's emergency teams.
At 4.45pm a car came off the road and crashed in a ditch on the road between Ellange and Erpeldange. One person was injured.
Another person was left with injuries after a lorry collided with a car in Luxembourg City. The accident took place at 6.10pm at the crossroads between Avenue de la Faiencerie and Boulevard de la Foire.
A car collided with a tree in Essingen, near Mersch, at 7pm, leaving one person injured.
Finally, a sixth person was injured after their vehicle flipped on to its roof on rue Joseph Philippart in Rodange, at 2.15am on Saturday morning.
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps also reported a number of small fires, which were limited to material damage only.
