The Ministry of Energy announced on Thursday evening that from Friday, a litre of SP95 will be sold for €1.569 per litre (-3.8 cents). This means that a 50-litre tank will cost €1.90 less.
On the other hand, the price of diesel does not change and remains at €1.455. As a result, the price gap between the two main fuels used in Luxembourg remains at 11 cents. This disparity returned in March, after a long period in which diesel was significantly more expensive.
Prices had already fallen during the week, bringing them to their lowest level since January 2022.
