"Typical Monday"
The usually heavy traffic in the morning rush hour was compounded by several accidents on the motorways in the direction of Luxembourg City this morning.
On the French side, it was at the Mondelange exit, on the A31 where an accident occurred shortly after 6am this morning. Despite roadside assistance being swift, substantial jams formed.
In Luxembourg, the Automobile Club (ACL) reported as accident on the A4, at the Pontpierre exit, in the direction of the capital, involving two vehicles. The cars collided in outside lane, causing a traffic jam heading back as far as Esch, at the Raemerich roundabout.

In the south (A13), it was at the ramp with the A4 at Foetz that an accident occurred around 6:45 am. Two cars were moved to the hard shoulder, but traffic flow was very slow. Finally, three cars were involved in an accident on the A1, heading towards the city from direction Trier.
On the incline heading passed Munsbach, where there was already a broken down truck, and the roadway goes from three to two lanes, a collision could not be avoided. The right lane was blocked until the cars and lorry were removed and the traffic jams backed up for several kilometers.
