The cars were parked in the 'Deichwiesen', 'Place de l'Hôtel de Ville' and the 'Place Marie-Adelaïde' car parks; a total of seven vehicles were damaged.
The as of yet unknown perpetrators smashed the windows and attempted to start some of the vehicles. In one case, a wallet was stolen out of the car.
The Diekirch police is investigating the matter.
