According to initial reports, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital for urgent treatment.
The driver of the car was treated at the site of the crash and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Police filed a report and took the driver to hospital for further check-ups.
The road was closed to traffic for around an hour to allow access for the emergency services.
Elsewhere, 112 reported a collision on the CR116 near Buschdorf at around 3.50pm. Two cars were involved in the crash, which left three people injured. Further details are unknown at this stage.
