
Tree collisions are alarmingly frequent in Luxembourg, sparking debate on the dangers and the need to reduce the number of trees alongside roads.
Two more such accidents occurred on Friday night - the first on the CR138 between Bech and Berbourg at 8.20pm, the second on the RN14 between Diekirch and Stegen at 9.45pm. Each crash left one person injured.
Earlier in the evening, a car crashed on Avenue Frantz Clement in Mondorf-les-Bains, injuring one person.
Finally, two cars were involved in a collision on Route de Bastogne in Niederfeulen in the early hours of Saturday morning. The accident, which happened at 1.20am, left two people hurt.
