The man spoke Luxembourgish and claimed to represent a group called "Fräizäitfrënn Minett".
Allegedly, the same man had been fraudulently collecting money in the centre of Dudelange over the last few weeks.
The scammer is in no way affiliated with Télévie, which does not collect cash donations, albeit with one exception:the KiwanisClub, who do so on Saturday at Cité Concorde.
