Yellow skiesSahara winds to cross Luxembourg this week

RTL Today
Don't wash your cars just yet - sandy Sahara winds are making their way across Luxembourg and neighbouring countries, giving the sky a tint of yellow.

The map shared by French meteorologist Guillaume Jauseau below depicts the trajectory from northern Africa. They are expected to pass over Luxembourg on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Sahara winds are not dangerous, but vulnerable people with respiratory problems should cover their mouth and nose with a face mask when going out.
