A case of the seasonal flu in a school in Differdange/Niederkorn cause unrest. However, head of the sanitary inspectorate Dr. Pierre Weicherding confirmed it was, in fact, a case of the seasonal flu. Flu season is set to last until the end of February.
A classroom and gym were disinfected in a maison relais in Niederkorn as a precautionary measure, according to Mrs. Schmit from the schooling department in Differdange. This was due to the suspected presence of an aggressive virus.
