The gas leak occurred after a gas pipeline was damaged during construction works. Creos has since announced that the gas leak is under control and three teams are at the scene. Repairing works are likely to take the whole day. It is likely the road will remain closed for the duration of works. The police have confirmed that there is no danger to nearby households and residents.
