A significant blaze erupted Wednesday evening on Rue Jean-François Boch in Rollingergrund, prompting a substantial emergency response.

The Luxembourg Motoring Association (ACL) first alerted the public to the incident, which fire officials initially described as a kitchen fire.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) deployed crews from five stations – Luxembourg City, Junglinster, Bertrange, Hesperange, and Mamer – to contain the flames. Additional support came from an ambulance unit and the Emergency Medical Assistance Team (SAMU).

One individual sustained injuries in the incident, though authorities have not yet determined the fire’s exact cause.

The same evening, emergency services responded to three separate, less severe fires near Troisvierges and in the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City, all of which resulted in no injuries.
