In Mersch, a person was robbed on Wednesday evening near the train station. Two youths approached the victim from behind and tore a chain from their neck before fleeing.
Earlier the same day, burglaries occurred in Grevenmacher and in Luxembourg City. In Grevenmacher, perpetrators entered the premises through a terrace door on Wednesday morning and stole the cash register. That evening, in Rue de Mühlenbach in the city, intruders gained access to a single-family house, also through the terrace door.
Investigations have been launched in both cases.
