Wind up to 85 km/hRoads blocked across Luxembourg due to falling trees

Many roads were blocked all over Luxembourg this Friday due to trees falling down. Here is the latest update from the Luxembourg Motoring Association (ACL).

A strong wind warning was issued for the entire territory of Luxembourg until 8pm. According to the national weather service, wind gusts reached up to 85 km/h.

In this context, several roads were blocked, closed, or obstructed by fallen trees or branches.

Here were the affected areas:

  • N7 Fridhaff - Lipperscheid
  • N12 Schweebach - Saeul
  • N14 Diekirch - Stegen (road closed)
  • N14 Graulinster - Beidweiler
  • N25 Kautebaach - Wiltz (road closed)
  • CR103 Holzem - Capellen
  • CR106 Schweech - Kräizerbuch
  • CR106 Mondercange- Lampach
  • CR315 Hareler Potto - Bivange
  • CR317B Heischtergronn - Giewelsmillen
  • CR337 Binsfeld- Troisvierges
  • CR348 Bourscheid - Giewelsmillen
  • CR358 Medernach- Savelborn
