For plug-in hybrids, new registrations have remained relatively stable since 2020, but their market share is slightly down. Here, the STATEC points out that subsidies for this vehicle type expired at the end of 2021 whereas they are still in place for 100% electric vehicles.

The automotive sector in general seems to be on the rebound. After the microchip shortage, registrations rose by 18% in the first four months of the year compared to 2022.
