As every year, the Red Cross bazaar falls under the high patronage of Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, the president of the Luxembourgish Red Cross. Several thousand visitors were able peruse more than 40 stands and entertainment stalls throughout the day.
The event mobilised more than 300 volunteers representing local sections of the NGO, all of whome welcomed the usual several thousand visitors.
In 2018, the bazaar managed to collect €180,000 to go towards the Luxembourgish Red Cross's activities. Funds raised at the 2019 edition will go towards Red Cross services providing shelter to vulnerable people in Luxembourg and abroad.
