The association of prison officers had criticised the prison administration for allegedly failing to provide them with adequate material.
The administration denounced the accusations in a press release this Wednesday, arguing that equipment had been delivered to the prison within the last 6 months. A second delivery, which was delayed because of the pandemic, is expected to reach the prison in July. According to the administration, the required material has to be ordered from the suppliers.
The prison guards had also argued that they never received adequate training after the 2018 riots. The administration also refuted this claim and said that there had been four training sessions in 2019 and 2020.
