
The Lëtzebuerger Wort wrote on Friday that Xavier Bettel had sent a letter to Marie-José Jacobs, Colette Flesch and Romain Schintgen of the ethics committee.
The three concerned will now judge whether the Minister for Family Affairs and Integration was right to send an email to the Commercial Union using a government email address. In particular, they will decide whether this act constituted a conflict of interest or not.
It was Cahen herself who asked the Prime Minister to involve the ethics committee on 11 November in order to render the discussion objective.
