A woman's body was discovered in a garden on Rue Large in Esch, not far from the municipal swimming pool, early on Wednesday morning. The public prosecutor has confirmed to RTL that the victim was a 72-year-old woman.
The exact circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear at this stage. The public prosecutor has tasked the technical police unit with the investigation, and an autopsy has also been ordered to establish the cause of death.
