Around 3.30am on Wednesday, police were alerted to a break-in on Route d’Esch in Hollerich. Officers were able to apprehend the presumed suspect soon after and presented him to an examining magistrate the same day.
According to the Grand Ducal Police, 1,150 burglaries occurred in 2021. They thus advise people to keep windows and doors locked and register for the free ‘holiday safety’ service when travelling abroad.
