Opinion - Martin Jonsson: The Schuman vaccination scandal - a masterclass in ill-advised press briefingsIf Campagna were still in charge of the committee, he would invite Schiltz to a training session on morals and ethics, he wrote in an open letter published in the Tageblatt newspaper. In Campagna’s opinion, Schiltz lacks serious ethical values and communication skills.
The former CSV minister justified his actions by stating that he wanted to continue working at the hospital. Everyone wants to, Norbert Campagna responded to this. He, too, as a teacher in a secondary school, faces a similar risk of infection. Nevertheless, he would never cut the queue.
He continued by questioning the necessity of Schiltz’s physical presence at the hospital as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, in comparison to the medical staff. Campagna therefore concludes that Jean-Louis Schiltz simply got vaccinated out of fear.
