Esch-sur-AlzettePolice seize truncheon following argument between motorcyclists and car driver

At around 5pm on Friday afternoon, the Esch-sur-Alzette police broke up a fight in Rue d'Audun and seized a truncheon.

Two motorcyclists and the driver of a car had gotten into an argument. When the officers arrived at the scene, they saw an object being hurled over a fence, which turned out to be a truncheon.

The officers did not see who was wielding the truncheon and those involved in the argument accused one another.

The public prosecutor’s office was informed, and the illegal weapon was seized. The forensic police were also called in to secure evidence. The police report that a “minor accident” had been the cause of the argument. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
