At 1.15 am on Wednesday morning, police noticed another driver swerving in Dudelange. The motorist ignored the police vehicle's lights at first, but then stopped at the side of the road. The man was also found to be driving under the influence.
After midnight, a driver in a sports car had stopped at a red light and then did a racing start as the light turned green. His peculiar driving style caught the attention of the police, who followed him and stopped him. Again, the driver was driving under the influence.
Finally at 2.30 am the police stopped another motorist in Luxembourg City. The driver immediately admitted that he had been banned from driving, and also tested positive in the breathalyser test.
All drivers had their licenses confiscated.
